Duties
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely throughout the warehouse
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory levels and update stock records
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision using order picking techniques and packaging best practices
- Manage shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and company policies
- Stock shelves efficiently while maintaining organized storage areas for quick access and inventory accuracy
- Assist with international trade regulations compliance by preparing necessary documentation for cross-border shipments
- Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating with shipping carriers and scheduling deliveries to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one upon hire; experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks is a plus
- Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for inventory management
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Experience with shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and order picking procedures is highly desirable
- Ability to operate RF scanners, MRPs (Material Requirements Planning), and other warehouse technology tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate stocking, packing, and order processing
- Physical ability to load & unload goods regularly; capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts
