Position Summary
Keystone Concrete, a locally owned and operated, concrete supplier, is looking for a motivated individual to join our team in as a Maintenance Technician. We operate in a fast-paced industry, so candidates need to be able to learn quickly and adapt easily to changes in workflow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working on heavy-duty trucks and diesel-powered equipment, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
With supervision from a Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician performs repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks including, but not limited to, chassis components; hydraulic and electrical systems; air brake systems; general engine work; and suspension, drive train and steering systems.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ready-mix trucks, dump trucks, semi-tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Assist in diagnosis and repair of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brake systems, suspension components, and electrical systems.
- Conduct DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet all safety and compliance requirements.
- Repair and maintain mixer drum systems, PTOs, hydraulic pumps, and related components.
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Ability to organize & track parts inventories
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize fleet downtime.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of heavy truck mechanic experience, preferably with heavy-duty trucks.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
- Experience using diagnostic software and repair tools a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment.
