Summary:
The Recruiter - JR will source and recruiting candidates by collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements and posting openings across various platforms. Responsibilities include reviewing resumes, conducting phone interviews, coordinating onsite interviews, tracking candidate activity, and drafting offer letters. The recruiter also manages the screening process, trains managers on onboarding, provides administrative support, ensures compliance with policies and regulations, and maintains confidentiality of HR records.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Jr. Recruiter include, but are not limited to:
Proactively source and recruit candidates for assigned positions
Coordinate with hiring managers to determine job requirements and draft job descriptions
Post open jobs using Applicant Tracking System, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn, staffing agencies, colleges/universities, local newspapers and other mediums
Review and source resumes that meet job requirements and conduct phone interviews to assess applicant qualification
Coordinate onsite interviews for management team
Track candidate activity; provide communication and updates on positions and selected candidates to hiring managers
Corporate Recruiter will draft and extend offer letters
Coordinate and track screening process of background checks, drug tests, and physicals
Train managers on new hire on-boarding process
Keep up to date on company policies and procedures
Provide administrative support to the department as needed
Ensure all networking and recruiting processes comply with our company policies and procedures, as well as with all federal and state laws.
Respect and maintain complete confidentiality related to all correspondence, records, and materials within the Human Resources Department
Other job duties as assigned to assist the department
Qualifications of the Jr. Recruiter include, but are not limited to:
1-3 years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a related industry
Bachelor's degree required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail oriented with strong organization skills
Demonstrate strong oral, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency and accuracy
Previous experience using employer job boards and Applicant Tracking System
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook required
