Job description:
We are seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing staff. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and energetic professional who has a passion for working with people and enjoys an environment where they can learn and grow. You should be comfortable working with both patients and co-workers and have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist our medical providers as they diagnosis and manage eye diseases.
- Perform the necessary work up to include pressure checks, instilling of eye drops, pupil checks, etc.
- Perform diagnostic imaging
- Assist providers with injections, while maintaining practice standards of sterile technique and infection control
- Demonstrate good customer service skills.
