Housekeeping at hotel
Essential:
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel policies scheduling may vary according to the needs of the hotel
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper business attire and name tag when working
- Comply at all times with Franchise standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Secure issued keys at all times, report lost or stolen keys immediately
- Follow proper Standard Operating Procedures on entering and securing guest rooms
- Thoroughly clean and re-stock guestrooms to Holiday Inn Standards
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to prep work for breakfast
- Complete all after hours clean up
- Prepare breakfast and maintain supplies on buffet line
- Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately
- Keep all break area clean, neat and vacuumed at all times
- Prepare area and kitchen for next day’s use
- Report any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Complete all assigned cleaning duties in designated area
- Keep immediate supervisors fully informed of all challenges or matters requiring his/her attention
Housekeeping Physical Requirements:
- Long hours sometimes required
- Medium work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, stoop or reach with your body and arms repeatedly without difficulty
- Ability to stand for long hours and walk long distances without fatigue
- Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
