Job Title: Machine OperatorJob Description
As a Machine Operator, you will safely set up, operate, and monitor bag machinery and equipment to meet customer and production goals. You will complete machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation. Monitoring the production process, inspecting, and testing materials and equipment will be essential to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas. You will verify and track all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities-
Safely set up, operate, and monitor bag machinery and equipment to meet production goals.

Complete machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment.

Monitor the production process, inspect and test materials and equipment to ensure quality standards and production quotas are met.

Verify and track all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks.

Train and provide guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.

Maintain organization of machinery and surrounding areas by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.

Complete all necessary documentation for internal or external use.

Fill in for AMOS and Inspectors as needed.

Collaborate with other departments or team members to coordinate production activities and address potential issues.
Essential Skills-
4 years' experience in a related field with a similar manufacturing environment.

Proficient in machine operation, production, and machine setup.

Ability to troubleshoot machinery and perform maintenance repairs.

Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Effective communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation forms.

Proactive with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Mechanical aptitude and inclination.

Work Environment
Work primarily in a manufacturing/warehouse environment, requiring hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection, and other necessary PPE. Exposure to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, inks, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels, and hot/humid conditions may occur.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
