Responsibilities
- Develop engaging, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Plan and implement daily lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental needs of preschool and toddler-aged children.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies to create a safe, respectful environment.
- Support children with special educational needs through early intervention strategies and tailored activities that promote inclusion and growth.
- Facilitate activities that enhance social skills, emotional regulation, and cooperation among students in a nurturing setting.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management in early childhood education environments.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including toddlers and preschoolers with special needs.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage positively with families.
