Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented and capable of working independently in various environments.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform equipment repair and appliance repair tasks as needed.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
- Work with ammonia refrigeration systems as required.
- Collaborate with other technicians to design and build efficient HVAC solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read technical drawings.
- Experience in field service operations related to HVAC systems is preferred.
- Skills in plumbing, welding, and equipment repair are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
