Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
Related Titles: Utility Worker
Reports To: Director of Nursing
Supervises: Direct Care Staff (CNA, RA, Med Tech)
Position Summary: Provide care and treat each resident with respect. Observe patients' health and wellbeing. Assist Director of Nursing, Doctors, and Third parties. Effectively communicating with residents and their families.
Essential Functions:
The following essential functions are the fundamental job duties of the position to be completed with or without appropriate reasonable accommodation.
- Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests with utmost courtesy and urgency.
- Ensure that daily shower and meals sheets are completed.
- Assist in and ensure call lights and pages are answered in a timely manner.
- Complete shift change with relief (Nurse or Med Tech): Narcotic sign in/out, narcotic count, replenished med cart and supplies, clear and precise verbal and written report and pass off of duties. Clean area.
· Follow interdisciplinary/ care plans for residents
· Communicate with Director of Nursing concerning, change in status, any medication issues, discrepancies, new orders, resident, staff and supply concerns.
· Monitor medication pass with Med tech routinely
- Keep trainings, screenings and certifications up to date.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.

- Physically able to move at least 50 lbs. without assistance.

- Physically able to stand and to work on hands and knees for long periods of time.
Requirements:
- Practical Nursing Licenses
- First Aid/ CPR Certification

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
