Job Overview
The Production Technician is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, performing basic troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe and organized work area and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position requires performing routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes for aircraft parts. This role helps ensure production goals are met while following company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine checks to ensure equipment is running safely, efficiently, and within required specifications.
- Inspect products during and after production to verify quality and identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality control procedures to meet daily production goals.
- Assist with material handling, inventory movement, and preparation of supplies needed for production.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and workflow.
- Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering team members.
- Trains manufacturing methods to all Assemblers, technicians per Supervisor requests
- Ability to utilize ERP system to record labor hours
- Ability to understand and interpret engineer documents and work instructions (drawings, ATP, ATR, etc.)
- Uses pneumatic tools, basic hand tools, and power tools (motorized drill, rivet gun, etc.).
Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of direct experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, bend and twist without restriction.
Working Conditions
- Protracted or irregular hours may be required.
- May require overtime or flexible scheduling during peak periods

- Follow company policies and procedures.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
