In-home Childcare Assistant.
Little Adventures Childcare is cares for children from 7:15am-4:00pm.
Little Adventures Childcare serves children between the ages of 6 weeks and 10 years old.
We support age-appropriate interactive play, support learning and development through play and intentional interactions, and strive to help children successfully reach age-appropriate and healthy developmental milestones.
Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring, supporting, and engaging with children during indoor and outdoor play and learning times.
- Preparing, serving, and monitoring mealtimes.
- Supervising and assisting with naptime and bathroom breaks.
- Supporting children during learning activities and experiences.
- Cleaning throughout the day.
Requirements:
*High school diploma or GED required for over 4 hours/day
*Applicants must be 18 years or older for over 4 hours/day
*Applicant must be willing to complete 15 hours of training annually.
Job Location: Roscoe, IL (Near Ledgewood/Stone Creek Schools)
Hours: Part time. May have opportunities to add hours
No Weekends or Federal Holidays
Pay Rate: Starting between $15 and $18/hr
Benefits: Scholarships for those starting or continuing their education in the child development/early childhood education field in Illinois (after 90 days of employment)
Contingent Upon:
*Applicants must be able to pass a DCFS background check
*Applicants must provide Current Physical (within last year) or be willing to get a Physical (within 5 days of hire)
*DCFS Vaccination requirements include: 1 dose TDap, 2 Doses of MMR or Proof of MMR Immunity
*TB Test required
