Job Overview
We are a design and innovation studio based in Pasadena, CA. We are looking for a talented Motion Designer / 3D Artist to join our team on an upcoming project, with the potential for additional work beyond the initial project.
We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for visual storytelling, animation, lighting, rendering, and cinematic presentation, who can take a design concept and turn it into compelling visual content.
What You'll Do
- Create high-quality 3D animations, motion graphics, and cinematic visualizations
- Develop product and concept visualizations from early ideas through final renders
- Create camera animation, lighting, materials, environments, and visual effects
- Collaborate closely with industrial designers and other members of the design team
- Help develop visual direction and presentation for projects
- Work efficiently within an existing design workflow and meet project deadlines
Software & Experience
Experience with some of the following is a plus — you do not need to have experience with all of them:
- Cinema 4D
- KeyShot
- Maya
- Houdini
- Redshift
- Adobe After Effects
- Blender / Blender rendering
- Other 3D, animation, rendering, or compositing software
What We're Looking For
- Strong motion design and 3D visualization skills
- Excellent understanding of composition, lighting, materials, camera movement, and timing
- Strong visual and cinematic sensibility
- Ability to create polished, presentation-ready work
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small design team
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional portfolio demonstrating relevant work
