As an Assembler Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of components and products that meet our high standards. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and success of our manufacturing operations.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Houston, TX location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall production process by ensuring timely and accurate assembly of parts, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate assigned equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Support the Honeywell Operating System
- Maintain assigned work areas
- Comply with all safety rules
- Record and report work assignment data
- Analyze and interpret data
- Perform product changeovers
- Make corrections to the process
- Perform equipment testing
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in assembling mechanical or electronic components in a manufacturing environment
- Availability – At work every day, follows facility rules, enforces stop/start, clean-up, break and lunch times. Starts work on time, minimal use of personal time. Seeks way to reduce the number of labor hours required to assemble and wire systems and shares best practices with team
- Communicates well with others and is open to other ideas from peers and Project Leaders
- Can easily adapt and change to new procedures and instructions
Uses learned skills and instructions such as assembly methods to ensure consistency of manufacturing
