Traction K9 Kennels is a highly specialized boarding facility that offers a safe haven for aggressive, reactive, intact, working, and other difficult dogs that are not welcome at traditional boarding facilities.
Our facility is designed to allow contact-free care, meaning even aggressive and reactive dogs do not require routine handling by staff. Feeding, cleaning, and monitoring can all be done without compromising safety or requiring advanced handling experience.
Our Kennel Techs (Kennel Paw-fficers) provide the care that makes this possible! We are seeking dedicated, reliable dog lovers to work part-time shifts each week. Shifts are available 7 days per week, 8am - 12pm and 12pm - 4pm.
Requirements
- Extremely professional, punctual, and reliable
- Respect and love for dogs
- Experience in animal care or kennel environments
- Thorough and efficient cleaner
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to follow detailed care and safety procedures consistently
This would be a fitting opportunity for an aspiring dog trainer, as you'll gain rare experience working around difficult, aggressive, reactive, and working dogs under the direction of the trainers at Traction Dog Training Club. Because of our unique facility design, green handlers can gain experience with these personality types without being expected to directly handle aggressive dogs or unnecessarily put themselves in harm's way.
