The Outreach Explorer III – Full Time reports to the Outreach Manager and serves as an advanced performer who independently leads dynamic, high-impact, inquiry-based learning experiences through TECH Trucks, outreach vans, camps, and outreach programs for PreK–8 audiences. This top-tier role exemplifies exceptional informal education and entertainment, consistently delivering memorable, audience-captivating programs.
Independently lead TECH Trucks, outreach vans, and camp programs with minimal supervision
Train and mentor Tier I and II facilitators
Innovate program delivery and suggest improvements to curriculum
Represent the Museum at high-profile community events and partner programs
Provide detailed program feedback and evaluation data
Perform other related duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities – No
2+ years of experience in performance, informal education, or museum programming

Exceptional ability to engage and entertain diverse audiences
Valid driver's license with auto insurance
Successful audition demonstrating advanced engagement and informal education performance style — the highest performance standard
Theater or improvisation experience
