Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Truck Driver / Equipment Mover to join our construction team. This position is responsible for transporting heavy equipment, construction materials, and tools to and from job sites while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is experienced operating commercial trucks and hauling heavy equipment, values teamwork, and takes pride in maintaining equipment and complying with all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Safely transport construction equipment, machinery, materials, and supplies between job sites and company facilities.

Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and securement equipment.

Complete required logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.

Coordinate with project managers and field crews to ensure timely equipment deliveries and pickups.

Assist with loading, unloading, and minor equipment maintenance as needed.

Monitor vehicle and trailer condition and report maintenance needs promptly.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of assigned equipment.

Follow all federal, state, and company safety policies and procedures.

Support construction crews with additional duties when transportation tasks are complete.
Qualifications

Valid CDL (Class A preferred).

Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safe driving practices.

Experience hauling heavy equipment on lowboy, flatbed, or equipment trailers preferred.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement requirements.

Ability to operate or load construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, dozers, rollers, and loaders is preferred.

Mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, as project demands require.

Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to climb onto trucks, trailers, and equipment.

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
