Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and experiments to support the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory techniques and quality control, with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
Duties
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).
- Perform quality control checks to ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
- Utilize knowledge of animal physiology, microbiology, histology, and molecular biology in various testing procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of data collection and analysis using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Collaborate with research & development teams to support scientific research initiatives.
- Apply laboratory techniques to analyze samples and interpret results effectively.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols.
- Stay updated on veterinary terminology and relevant scientific advancements to enhance laboratory practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience in an industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, including data collection methods and analysis skills.
- Experience with quality control processes, FDA regulations, GLP, CGMP, and other industry standards.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment.
- Excellent math skills for accurate data analysis and interpretation.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
