SAFETY DRIVERS NEEDED – Autonomous Vehicles (Level 3 Vehicle Operator)

A leading autonomous ride-hailing company is seeking Level 3 Vehicle Operators (Safety Drivers) to support the launch and expansion of autonomous vehicle operations. What You’ll Do
- Drive autonomous vehicles 4–8 hours per day with a strong focus on safety
- Monitor vehicle behavior and take control when needed
- Perform basic software and hardware operation tasks
- Collect data and provide accurate written and verbal feedback to engineering teams
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Support vehicle readiness, cleanliness, and logistics
- Assist with documentation, metrics, and operational reporting
Hours:
- Overnight shift: 11:45pm-8:15am
Days:
- Monday-Friday
- Tuesday-Saturday
- Wednesday-Sunday
- Thursday-Monday
- Friday-Tuesday
- Saturday-Wednesday
- Sunday-Thursday
Shift Premiums:
- Weekend shifts: +5% per hour
- Night shifts starting 1:00 PM or later: +2% per hour
- Weekend Night Shift Total Bonus: +7% per hour
What We’re Looking For
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to drive for long periods of time
- Basic technology and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent driving record and experience
- Proactive, dependable, and safety-focused mindset
Bonus Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience
- Military experience
Interview Process
- Virtual Interview (30-minute Zoom)
- On-Site Interview (45 minutes)
- Drive test
- Aptitude/knowledge check
- Live typing test - 45 wpm
- 3 years with a consecutive driver's license

- Some travel required for training (3–4 days in Las Vegas, NV during week 4)
