Under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager, the employee will perform a variety of clinical and clerical duties, including:
- Greeting patients and families in a professional, welcoming manner.
- Taking vital signs and preparing patients for examination.
- Obtaining and reviewing medical, social, surgical, medication, and allergy histories.
- Performing in-office procedures such as urinalysis, pregnancy testing, strep screens, EKGs, and TB testing, and reporting results to providers.
- Communicating testing information, procedures, and follow-up instructions clearly and professionally.
- Accurately documenting all patient information in the medical record according to current guidelines.
- Administering medications as prescribed by the provider.
- Preparing and cleaning patient areas, setting up equipment, and ensuring proper room turnover after procedures.
- Disposing of contaminated supplies and sterilizing medical instruments.
- Assisting with scheduling, clerical tasks, and patient flow as needed.
- Participating in additional training for code management to ensure readiness for emergency response.
- Traveling between health park locations to provide coverage based on staffing needs.

- Skill in using calculators, copy machines, and computers.

MidMichigan Community Health Services is seeking a full-time clinical team member to join our staffing pool. This role provides broad exposure across multiple service lines: including Primary Care, Urgent Care, Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Walk-In Clinic, while supporting triage and in-basket management when coverage needs are low. The ideal candidate is adaptable, team-oriented, and eager to develop skills across a variety of clinical settings. This position requires flexibility, additional training for code management, and the ability to travel between our health park locations as needed.
The staffing pool position provides clinical and clerical support across several service areas based on organizational needs:

When coverage is not required in these areas, the employee will support triage functions and in-basket management for primary care teams.
