American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, with nights availability and key certifications including TNCC and NIHSS.

Position is located in an acute care hospital Emergency Department

Fast-paced ED treating a broad patient population including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients
-
ED nurses perform critical care skills including medication titrations, arterial line management, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tube management
-
Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

36 hours per week

13-week contract

Active SC or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required; BSN highly desired

Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a U.S. hospital required

Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training)

Must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify

Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs, emphasizing safety, quality, and a positive patient experience

CPI certification is mandated for this position; Basic or Advanced CPI training may be available at the facility — confirm with your recruiter
