Job Overview
It’s All Green is hiring a dependable Landscape Crew Member to assist with both recurring lawn maintenance and landscape installation projects.
This is a hands-on outdoor position. Your regular work will include mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, pruning, bed maintenance, seasonal cleanup, mulch installation, planting, sod, drainage, grading, and general landscape improvements.
Professional experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train someone who has reliable attendance, works at a steady pace, follows instructions, takes care of equipment, and wants to learn the landscaping trade.
What You’ll Do
- Mow residential and small commercial properties
- String-trim around trees, beds, fences, buildings, and other obstacles
- Edge sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and landscape beds
- Blow off all hard surfaces and leave properties clean
- Assist with pruning, bed weeding, leaf cleanup, and seasonal maintenance
- Install mulch, pine needles, soil, decorative stone, plants, shrubs, trees, and sod
- Assist with drainage, grading, trenching, and soil-preparation projects
- Load and unload equipment, materials, plants, and debris
- Safely operate mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and hand tools
- Clean and maintain trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and crew-leader instructions
- Protect customer property and maintain a professional appearance on every job
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to our designated meeting location in the Indian Land area
- Dependable attendance and ability to report to work on time
- Willingness to perform both lawn maintenance and heavier landscape-installation work
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, cold, dust, and changing weather
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, lift, and work on your feet throughout the day
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds and help move heavier materials
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around equipment
- Professional and respectful behavior around customers and coworkers
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous professional mowing, landscaping, construction, farming, or outdoor labor experience
- Experience operating commercial zero-turn or stand-on mowers
- Experience with trimmers, edgers, blowers, trailers, and other landscape equipment
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Experience safely driving a truck and pulling a trailer
