Knightdale and Raleigh/Triangle Area:
Experienced and dependable dump truck drivers wanted for quad and quint axle dump trucks, to transport and dump materials such as stone, asphalt, or other materials as needed in the Triangle area. Must have valid CDL, clean record and at least 1 year verifiable experience. Must pass drug test and DOT physical. Good salary options. Requirements: 1 year MINIMUM verifiable dump truck driving experience with hauling asphalt, dirt, stone, debris, and other materials. Clean driving record with Class A or B CDL.
Pre-employment checks include: Background check, Active Medical Card, DOT drug testing and MVR.
Summary
As a Quint and Quad Axle Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites. With core skills in driving and premium skills in commercial driving, you will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of goods. Your relevant skills in shuttle driving, delivery experience, and mechanical knowledge will be valuable in handling various types of cargo. Experience with CDL B, CDL, and CDL A licenses, along with proficiency in manual transmission vehicles, will be essential for success in this role. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Quint and Quad Axle Dump Trucks to transport materials to and from specified locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving commercial vehicles.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the dump trucks.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to designated sites.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate pickup and drop-off schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior.
