2nd shift CNC Machinists
hours Mon.-Thurs 3:15pm-1:45am
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM), bore gauges, and other inspection tools
- Troubleshoot issues with machines or equipment and perform maintenance tasks as necessary
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- *********Specifically looking for VTL and Boring Mill operators**********
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Proficiency in operating Fanuc-controlled machines
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight tolerances
- Familiarity with hand tools, tooling, and assembly processes
