About us
1890 Grille and Lounge is a full-service restaurant and lounge in downtown Granbury. We cook from a menu that mixes classic comfort food with a modern edge, using fresh ingredients and consistent execution. We’re hiring a Line Cook who can keep up on a busy line and take pride in the plate that leaves the window.
What you’ll do
- Cook menu items to recipe, portion, and presentation standards
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized through service
- Follow food-safety and sanitation rules every shift
- Help with receiving, storage, and rotation of product
- Work with the rest of the kitchen and FOH so tickets move cleanly
- Stay composed during high-volume nights, weekends, and holidays
What we’re looking for
- 1+ years as a line cook (or equivalent) in a busy restaurant
- Solid grasp of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety
- Ability to handle multiple tickets without losing quality
- Clear communication and a team-first attitude
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary school or formal training is a plus, not required.
