We are seeking a full-time Tasting Room Lead to join our Woodinville team. This hands-on leadership role supports the Tasting Room Manager with daily operations while helping inspire the team, elevate the guest experience, and drive sales. What You’ll Do
- Assist the Tasting Room Manager with the day-to-day operation of the tasting room.
- Lead by example by delivering exceptional hospitality and personalized tasting experiences.
- Help motivate and support the team while maintaining a fun, positive, and energetic work environment.
- Drive wine club and cider club membership growth by creating genuine connections with guests.
- Support staff training, coaching, and development.
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, merchandising, opening and closing procedures, and daily operations.
- Help execute winery events, club releases, private events, and promotional activities both on and off site.
- Create and schedule social media content highlighting our wines, ciders, spirits, events, and guest experiences.
- Keep event information updated on our website, online community calendars, and event listing platforms.
- Assist with administrative tasks including inventory, ordering supplies, and sales reporting.
- Ensure the tasting room and outdoor spaces remain clean, organized, welcoming, and guest-ready.
- Step confidently into leadership responsibilities whenever the Tasting Room Manager is unavailable.
What We’re Looking For
- Hospitality, wine, retail, food and beverage, or tasting room experience preferred.
- Passion for creating memorable guest experiences and building relationships.
- A naturally positive attitude with the ability to motivate and inspire those around you.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Comfortable creating social media content and using online platforms to promote events.
- Basic computer skills with experience using POS systems. Experience with Commerce7 is a plus but not required.
- Must be 21 years or older and possess (or be able to obtain) a Washington State MAST Class 12 Permit and Food Handler’s Card.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and special events.

In this role, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming guests, guiding them through our offerings, and ensuring they have a memorable experience. You’ll combine your sales expertise with a passion for hospitality, helping to promote our wines and products while delivering top-notch customer service. If you love engaging with people, sharing your knowledge, and driving sales in a lively environment, this position is perfect for you!
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide engaging tours or product demonstrations to enhance their experience.
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Millennium or similar software.
- Promote our wines and products through upselling techniques and personalized recommendations.
- Manage social media platforms by creating content, responding to inquiries, and building an online community around our brand.
- Maintain excellent customer relationship building by understanding guest preferences and following up to ensure satisfaction.
- Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store environment is inviting.
- Handle cashing out customers accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures and basic math principles.
Experience
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience in a hospitality or retail setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Millennium or similar software is a plus.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, or beauty & cosmetics sales can be beneficial but not required—training will be provided!
- Multilingual skills or bilingual abilities are advantageous for connecting with diverse guests.
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and client communication techniques.
- Experience with social media management tools and content creation is desirable.
- Ability to analyze sales data, meet sales targets, and perform retail math accurately.
