Job Overview
Wade Carrier Company is a FedEx Ground independent service provider operating out of Fort Smith and is looking to hire delivery drivers for our routes around the River Valley
In this position you will be a FedEx delivery driver making deliveries and pick-up's at businesses and residential addresses
As a FedEx delivery driver your day begins at the terminal where the packages are sorted for delivery. After loading is complete you will dispatch to your route making deliveries and pick-up's and return to the terminal when the route is finished. Of course every day is different, but generally our drivers are back to the terminal between 4-6pm, however we must deliver all packages every day so there is no set end time for the work day.
Duties
- Delivery driver must be at least 21 years of age
- All candidates will undergo a drug screen and must pass a DOT physical
- All candidates must be able to pass a criminal background and driving record check
- Available to work SATURDAY/MONDAY
- Available to work FULL TIME shift's each day - routes are ran until COMPLETE!
- 1 YEAR of previous driving experiernce perferred
- NON-CDL
- Able to learn to safely drive a box truck into loading-docks, driveways, tight spaces without damaging our company trucks and customer property.
- Must be able to lift 150lbs plus ( with dolly provided)
