Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail automotive service center. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians and staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales growth. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and profitability while fostering a positive environment for both employees and customers.
Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to ensure team excellence.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, purchasing, merchandising, and stock control.
- Manage customer interactions by providing outstanding service and resolving issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets through effective marketing and promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, operational procedures, and company policies across all store functions.
- Handle financial tasks such as payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, budgeting, and sales reporting.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions while maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry or automotive service sector with a focus on store operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams and managing retail sales teams effectively.
- Strong background in inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and operational management.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for financial accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff and foster a team-oriented environment.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
