Position Overview
A Darien family of three young boys — ages 4, 2.5, and 1 — is seeking a part-time Household Assistant/Nanny to support household operations and childcare during afternoon and early evening hours. This role works alongside a full-time afternoon nanny and combines household administration, dinner support, and laundry with hands-on care for one child at a time. The family's home is a five-bedroom property with a fenced-in backyard, and they place a high value on outdoor play. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, comfortable with young children, and communicates well within a team-staffed household.

Responsibilities
- Household administration and organizational support
- Dinner preparation and kitchen support, including cleanup
- Family laundry, folding, and putting away
- General household tidying and upkeep
- Provide one-on-one care for a single child while the nanny is with the other two
- Support age-appropriate play and routines, including outdoor time in the fenced backyard
- Assist with children's mealtime and evening routines
- Coordinate with the afternoon nanny and household team on daily priorities
Requirements
- Professional experience combining household support with childcare, or comparable background
- Confident caring for one young child at a time, including infants and toddlers
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong, proactive communication skills
- Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
