Dora Ristorante is looking for a warm, energetic, poised, and welcoming individuals to be the face of our restaurant and an essential part of our front-of-house team. A Day at the Door (Key Responsibilities)
- Warmly greet and seat all incoming guests, managing the pace and flow of the dining room to maximize efficiency and guest comfort.
- Manage the OpenTable reservation system and seating chart with meticulous accuracy.
- Answer phones professionally, take reservations, and answer guest questions about the menu and restaurant policies.
- Coordinate communication between the front-of-house service team and the kitchen to ensure smooth transitions between courses and tables.
- Maintain a tidy and organized host stand and lobby area.
We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a genuinely warm and welcoming demeanor.
- A poised and professional appearance, with the ability to remain calm under pressure during peak service times.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation software is a significant plus.
- Must be available for Part-Time shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be available weekends + holidays.
- Looking for availability at least 3 days per week.
