ACME Machinist Job Description
CQ + Manufacturing Group, LLC is seeking an energetic and driven ACME Gridley Screw Machinist for a 1st shift position in Machesney Park, IL. CQ+ is growing and we need your help to continue that growth.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Set-up/ Programming on conventional ACME Gridley Screw Machines.
- Ideal candidate will be able to complete set-up process.
Requirements:
- Prior familiarity with machining and gauging is preferred, but not required.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must perform well under low supervision.
- Must Have Reliable Transportation.
- Good communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand on your feet for the entire shift without extra breaks.
- Must be able to lift a max of 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day daily.
Other:
- 1st shift hours are 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Overtime is available when conditions exist.
- Must be able to commute to Machesney Park, IL
- Wear provided Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
