Senior Human Resources Specialist

Responsibilities
- Oversee and support an HR team serving federal contractor clients.
- Advise client leadership on employee relations, performance management, employment law, and HR best practices.
- Partner with the Legal Department on investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and government contractor requirements.
- Collaborate with payroll, compliance, finance, and legal teams to deliver comprehensive HR solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through technology and AI.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through separation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Experience supporting complex employee relations matters.
- Experience advising business leaders on HR strategy and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal government contractors.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent HR certification.
