We’re seeking a motivated, self-starting professional to join our collaborative and hardworking team in Kansas City, KS. As an Assistant Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our machinery while ensuring the upkeep of our shop and building facilities. You’ll assist in troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines, including advanced 3/5-axis systems, and tackle issues involving electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. With your strong problem-solving abilities and technical expertise, you’ll help ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a self-driven individual who can work independently while collaborating with our Maintenance Supervisor and team.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair CNC machines, including spindle drives, hydraulic systems, and 120V-480V electrical systems.

Assist with CNC electronics, programming, and machine installations to optimize performance.

Perform light welding, fabrication, and repairs on shop tools and manufacturing equipment.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring proper lubrication schedules and safety protocols.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role, with hands-on expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

Familiarity with troubleshooting CNC machines and advanced multi-axis controllers.

Strong knowledge of CNC diagnostics, and older equipment repairs.

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
