Warehouse Associate with Driver Qualifications
We are a leading environmental abatement company looking for a Warehouse Associate/Driver. This person will work under the Warehouse Manager supervision. The individual must be energetic, reliable, honest, and a self-starter. In addition, the candidate must have experience operating a forklift and a clean valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- At least 1 year experience driving Box Truck/Straight Trucks in NYC/NYS/NJ Required (Note: We don't own Tractor Trailers and manual trucks so Commercial CDL licenses are Not required as a Must Have)
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50lbs
- Prepare and complete orders for equipment/tools/materials delivery or pickup according to schedule
- Receive and stock warehouse replenishment orders
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Qualifications
- The capability to learn industry specific materials and equipment functions
- Valid Driver’s License (Must have clean record)
- Previous warehouse and forklift
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to work overtime hours
- High School Completion
