Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This position requires 2 years of veterinary hospital experience running rooms with preference to surgery experience.
Responsibilities
- Animal restraint, blood draws, and laboratory testing.
- Taking and developing diagnostic x-rays
- Pet care in hospital including routine procedures, dispensing and administering medications.
- Maintaining accurate medical records.
- Taking histories of patients and preparing for appointments
Qualifications
- Laboratory experience including sample collection and analysis is required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassionate care for animals.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
