- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as bussing tables or handling simple food items when needed
- Support the culinary team during catering events or banquet setups by providing timely dishware and utensil support
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage waste disposal and recycling processes effectively
- Contribute to a positive team environment by maintaining a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism throughout your shift
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in busy environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Previous experience with bussing, food preparation, catering, banquet service or hotel operations is a plus but not mandatory
