Guardian Community Care is seeking dependable, compassionate CNA Caregivers to provide private-duty care for a client in the Clayton, NC area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNA looking for consistent 12-hour shifts, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Position Details
- Position: CNA Caregiver
- Location: Clayton, NC
- Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Employment: Full-time or part-time
- Full-time: Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekend availability: Preferred
Responsibilities
The CNA Caregiver will provide hands-on care and support based on the client's individual care plan. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Personal care and hygiene
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Meal assistance as needed
- Companionship and supervision
- Maintaining a safe and clean care environment
- Following the client's care plan and agency policies
- Reporting changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA certification
- Previous CNA, home-care, or direct-care experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Current TB test/screening or willingness to complete required TB screening
- Reliable transportation to the Clayton area
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care
- Ability to successfully complete required employment and background screening
