We are seeking an out-going, energetic, team worker part-time up to full-time to be apart of our great team at Healing Hands Physical Therapy Centers, Inc in our Thomson, GA location as a Physical Therapy Technician.
Job Responsibilities:
- Patient Care
- Ensure that the patient has a positive and progressive experience with physical therapy each treatment session
- Assist in treatment of Patients (as directed by PT or PTA)
- Gym/Patient Flow
- Patient Flow
- Schedule Maintenance
- Print schedule, pull charts, mark measurements and re-evals, cancel, no-shows, and reschedules accordingly
- Gym Maintenance
- Clean Gym Equipment and Mats
- Including tables, exercise equipment, and weights daily
- Clean Gym
- Make sure all equipment is put back in proper place and gym is neat at all times
- Laundry
- Ensure that the gym is well stocked with all equipment needs and needs are reported to Operations Director (must be 2 weeks in advance)
- Hot Packs, Cold Packs, T-band, Electrodes, Laundry and Supplies, Batteries, and Timers
- Chart Maintenance
- Make sure all charts contain necessary information such as forms, time in/out, pain in/out, flowsheets, and billing information
- Make sure all data is current and up to date
- MD appointments
- Authorized visits
- Insurance limits
- Communication
- Maintain open lines of communication with all staff members at all times
- Communicate with Front Desk
- Concerning Frequency and Duration Changes, Transportation, Hold Status, MD Follow Up Appointments, Authorization Status, and DC Planning
- Communicate with PT and PTA
- Concerning Plan of Care, Progress, Compliance, Yellow/Red Flags, Discharge Planning, and Patient Feedback
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
