Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and movement dysfunctions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and function
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, fitness, and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
- Oversee the work of a physical therapy assistant
- Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and comply with state regulations and reporting requirements
- Communicate with workers’ compensation carriers on the patient’s progress and ability to return to work
- Other duties as assigned
