Niece Trucking based out of Des Moines, IA is hiring for two full time local company drivers in Des Moines, IA. The open positions will start their day between 1 am - 5 am and complete their day 8 - 14 hours later. Work days are Monday thru Friday. All loads are drop and hook, or live load/live unload. These positions will be home daily, and pay is$27.50 per hour
Duties
- Deliver freight securely and efficiently.
- Plan and follow optimal routes for timely deliveries.
- Needs to know how to securely fasten and weigh loads.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 23 years old
- 18 months verifiable experience
- No more than three moving violations in the last three years
- No more than one DOT recordable in the last three years
