Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and education
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexible scheduling; occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Work Setting: In-person, including client homes and clinical settings
About the Position
ACT – Autism Care Therapy is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
You will help clients build meaningful skills in communication, social interaction, independence, and daily living while supporting the reduction of challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clinic and home settings
- Follow individualized treatment and behavior plans developed by a BCBA
- Collect accurate data on client progress, behaviors, and treatment outcomes
- Help clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills
- Build positive and professional relationships with clients and their families
- Collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, caregivers, and other team members
- Attend team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training
- Maintain confidentiality and follow professional and ethical standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Current RBT certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
- Experience working with children, autism, or developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, dependable, compassionate, and willing to learn
- Reliable transportation for home-based services
