Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces.
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents safely and effectively.
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting, outdoor work, and moving furniture or supplies with proper technique.
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and janitorial procedures.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and equipment operation is essential.
- Previous outdoor work experience is a plus for properties requiring exterior maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address specific requests confidently.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking is required.
