MOOD Wellness Lounge is looking for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Alexandria, VA.
Applicants MUST have a minimum of 1 year of professional front-desk/reception experience.

As we continue to grow and expand our services, we're looking for someone who can become a reliable part of the MOOD experience—warm and welcoming with our clients, highly organized behind the scenes, and confident managing the day-to-day responsibilities of a busy front desk.
This is an important client-facing role. Our receptionist is often the first and last interaction a client has with MOOD, so we're looking for someone who understands how much professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality matter.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, salon, medical office, hospitality environment, or other appointment-based business is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and check in clients
- Answer incoming calls, texts, and client inquiries professionally
- Schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments
- Process client checkouts and payments
- Maintain an organized and accurate appointment book
- Assist clients with memberships, packages, gift cards, and general service questions
- Communicate effectively with therapists and other team members throughout the day
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support daily opening/closing responsibilities
- Assist with light administrative tasks as needed
- Become knowledgeable about MOOD's services and confidently guide clients toward the appropriate service or practitioner
- Provide consistent follow-through when handling client needs or concerns
