POSITION OVERVIEW:

The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical and low-voltage electrical systems, excels at troubleshooting, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while keeping facilities safe, secure, and accessible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and install automatic sliding/swing doors, storefront entry systems, and associated access control hardware.
- Install, inspect, and service commercial automatic doors
- Troubleshoot electrical components, control boards, motors, and motion sensors.
- Repair and adjust commercial entry hardware (panic bars, door closers, and pivots.)
- Run and connect low-voltage wiring for automatic door operators, motion sensors, panic hardware, electronic locks, and access control systems.
- Perform AAADM safety inspections to ensure all doors comply with ANSI/ADA accessibility and safety codes.
- Interact professionally with facility managers, explain issue root causes and provide clear service reports.
- Clearly communicate diagnostic findings, repair costs, parts used, and labor hours. Keep inventory organized on company service vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- One year experience in servicing or installing commercial doors, automated pedestrian doors, overhead doors, or electromechanical equipment.
- Skilled with hand/power tools, digital multimeters, and reading wiring schematics.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving history.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and working on ladders.
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
