Job Summary
Tuscan Brands is on the lookout for an energetic and experienced General Manager – Events & Catering to lead Artisan Events & Catering. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of planning, executing, and overseeing a wide range of events, from corporate functions to social gatherings, ensuring every detail exceeds guest expectations. Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily catering and event operations from planning through execution
- Manage event timelines, staffing schedules, logistics, and on-site coordination
- Lead, train, motivate, and supervise catering, banquet, and event staff
- Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction at all events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, venues, and corporate partners
- Meet with clients to discuss event details, menus, budgets, and expectations
- Develop new business opportunities and drive catering and event sales growth
- Prepare proposals, contracts, pricing packages, and event estimates
- Manage budgets, labor costs, inventory, and financial reporting
- Coordinate with chefs, decorators, entertainment providers, and other vendors to ensure smooth event execution
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company standards
- Resolve operational issues and client concerns quickly and professionally
- Monitor event quality, presentation, and service standards to maintain brand excellence
- Assist with marketing initiatives, promotions, and community outreach efforts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality, catering, or event management
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience managing budgets and event logistics
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Requirements
- Proven experience in events management, catering, hospitality, or related fields such as restaurant or hotel operations.
- Strong skills in negotiation, marketing, upselling, and event marketing strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Deep understanding of event planning processes including budgeting, contracts, banquet setup, and catering logistics.
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, staff, and internal teams.
- Background in customer service with a focus on guest satisfaction in hospitality environments.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
