Reports To: Mobile Lead Art Coordinator / Studio Manager
Location: Mobile (Travel Required)
Position Summary
The Mobile Art Coordinator assists in delivering engaging mobile art experiences by preparing materials, setting up events, leading art activities, and ensuring guests enjoy a fun, safe, and creative experience. This position supports the Lead Art Coordinator during events and may independently lead smaller programs when assigned.
This position is ideal for college students, aspiring teachers, artists, and creative individuals who enjoy working with children and families.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Support
- Assist with transporting, setting up, and breaking down event equipment.
- Organize art supplies before and after each event.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations.
- Verify supplies and replenish materials as needed.
Art Instruction
- Assist with leading drawing, painting, and craft activities.
- Demonstrate basic drawing and painting techniques.
- Help participants complete projects while encouraging creativity.
- Support participants of varying ages and skill levels.
Customer Service
- Greet guests warmly and professionally.
- Assist customers with project selection and materials.
- Answer participant questions during events.
- Create a welcoming, positive, and engaging environment.
Safety
- Monitor participants throughout activities.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Ensure children follow safety procedures.
- Assist with emergency procedures when necessary.
Studio & Administrative Support
- Help maintain inventory.
- Assist with merchandise sales and registrations.
- Support event photography (with permission).
- Clean and organize supplies after each event.
QualificationsPreferred
- Background in art, education, recreation, or a creative field.
- Experience working with children.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience in an art studio, camp, classroom, or recreational setting.
Skills
- Strong basic drawing and sketching abilities.
- Knowledge of painting and mixed-media art techniques.
- Comfortable demonstrating art projects.

Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Pay: From $18.05 per hour
