The Youth and Family Specialist will work with youth and families at risk for gang involvement. This is a preventative program, the youth and family specialist will work at the youth center, in the school district, in the community and in the home. The youth and family specialist needs to be bilingual in Spanish, have a bachelor's degree in education, social work, sociology, psychology, human services, criminal justice, counseling or a related field. the candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with youth.
This is a grant funded position. The salary is $54,106 with generous benefits including health insurance and paid time off.
