Your Mission:
The CNC Programmer Level II develops, manages, and verifies CNC programs for machines across the company with minimal supervision. This role includes advanced 3-, 4-, and 5-axis programming, fixture design, process planning, and project management to improve machine efficiency, part quality, and overall production performance.
Explore the Depth of the Role:
- Develop and process CNC programs using Mastercam for all machines in the company.

Prepare process plans, including tool positioning, feed rates, spindle speeds, and tool changes.

Design and implement fixtures using SolidWorks software.

Verify programs using Vericut or equivalent simulation software.

Determine part suitability for automation and assign machines based on efficiency and quality requirements.

Manage programming projects from conception to completion, driving improvements in production efficiency.

Collaborate with operators and team members to optimize workflow and maintain organized program files.
Requirements:
Mission Readiness:

High School Diploma required; supervisory training or experience preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related position in the machine tool industry.

Advanced proficiency with Mastercam, SolidWorks, and Vericut software.

Knowledge of CNC machine operations, tooling, and machining centers.

Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis programming and large workpiece setups.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be required.
