Job Duties:

Use the right utensils and follow recipe guidelines
- Work together with other kitchen team members and management
- Keep the kitchen clean and tidy
- Multitask and be efficient
- Help with making and preparing dough as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish ingredients as needed
- Assist with food preparation tasks as assigned
- Culinary training or certification is beneficial but not required
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
- Working with others to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Required Qualifications
If interested in applying for this position, please note that the minimum age requirement is 18 years. The ideal candidate should possess a detail-oriented approach with a high standard of cleanliness. They should be capable of providing leadership and following instructions. The candidate should also be able to lift up to 25lbs, stand and walk for extended periods of time. Previous experience working in a restaurant kitchen would be desirable, along with a team-oriented attitude. A good understanding of Italian cuisine is essential. If the candidate has the ability to prepare delicious sauces and dishes, they would be considered the ideal candidate for the position.
