Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. Responsibilities
- Operate flatbed, and other specialized vehicles with precision and safety.
- Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries while complying with all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
- Load and unload materials and equioment safely, utilizing manual handling techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Secure cargo properly, especially when transporting hazardous materials or dangerous goods, following all hazardous materials regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, maintaining detailed logs as required by DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including delivery logs, incident reports, and cargo manifests.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and logistics teams to coordinate route planning and address any delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and freight delivery.
- Valid driver’s license and or (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission operation if applicable.
- Familiarity with various truck types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, and hazardous materials handling procedures.
- Ability to operate GPS navigation systems efficiently for route planning and navigation.
- Experience in load & unload procedures along with safe manual handling techniques.
- Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling processes and safety protocols related to dangerous goods transportation.

Pay: $2,037.00 - $2,453.16 per week
