IMPORTANT TO NOTE - There’s an aide on every bus! All children are 2-5 years old and are buckled in child safety belts.
PART TIME - 20 HOURS/WEEK
QUALIFICATIONS:
Driver must be at least 21 years of age; possess a Class B CDL driver’s license with a P/S endorsement, air-brake certified and an excellent driving record. Minimum of one-year experience driving a school bus preferred. Ability to follow written directions and to complete simple forms. Hold a thorough knowledge of rules of the road and of the Maryland State Motor Vehicle Code, the operation and function of the assigned motor vehicle, and a working knowledge of the geography of Hagerstown and its environment. Ability to read and to understand a map. Ability to work well with a wide variety of people and to understand and to follow instructions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for timely and safe transportation of children to and from the Head Start program. Operates the vehicle safely. Greets parent and child. Adheres to all rules and regulations concerning Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles and as required by the school bus code
Pay: $20.00 per hour
